When I heard that a craft beer and taco themed music festival was coming to Denver, I was sold. The fact it was also noted that Lucha Libre wrestling matches will take place made it a home run. I knew I had to add this event to the page. Although Interracial Friends is not yet confirmed for a photo pass, my request currently has been sent as of now and is in consideration currently. Either way, approved or denied, there's no denying I have high hopes on being at this event one way or the other whether it be with a photo pass covering the event or with a ticket spectating as a concert goer. And you should have high hopes of wanting to go too! It's not everyday that a musical legend starts

That's right, we have no other than Dexter Holland, singer for the multi-platinum punk rock band The Offspring, to thank for this festival. Gringo Bandito was started in 2004 by Holland more as a hobby than a business. He is quoted saying, "I just thought it would be cool to have a hot sauce," says Holland. "I gave away the first batch as Christmas presents to my friends." The response to his new hot sauce was so overwhelming that Holland decided to put it out commercially. Sales were modest at first, and the hot sauce was distributed only in Holland's native Southern California. "It has always been a DIY operation for sure," Holland says. "It started small but it has just kept on growing."

After several years and over a million bottles later, Gringo Bandito hot sauce has garnered a worldwide audience and a loyal following. "We're not the most well-known hot sauce out there," says Holland, "but once people try it, they're hooked." Gringo Bandito is now sold in Australia, Japan, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, UK, Poland, Germany, Belgium, Hungary and coast to coast in the US and can be found in the top 10 on Amazon.com's highest customer rated hot sauces amongst 5000+ other products. Needless to say, all of this makes this festival that more intriguing with such a rad origin story. I'm honored to see my home state (Colorado) getting added as a one of the tour dates for this festival. Denver in particular will be offering a large selection of over more than 100+ craft beers. If you can catch one of these tour dates at the least, I highly recommend it.

Be sure to get your tickets, and I hope to see you in Denver at Sabroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Festival 2018 come April 28!
